Hey everyone, here's a simple roadmap for 2025 and a thread for your suggestions. Feel free to join our Discord[discord.gg]server for anything related to Proelium.

For 2025:

I guess if you're going to expand on missions I think you can expand on the regular presence patrols by including KEYLEs (Key leadership engagements) and VSO ( Village stabilization operations) which were common for infantry units and even SF ODAs to do during the GWOT. KEYLEs like talking to village elders or anyone with authority and VSOs to get the entire population to support you were a big part of the interactions with villages, towns. Getting there support was seen as important regardless of what you think of the outcome of that war.

Oh yeah almost forgot HVT kill capture missions too to have that counter insurgency feel but maybe we need more AI teammates.

As also mentioned on Discord, I like your suggestions. I find them interesting and in line with what we are building - it seems that you have therefore acquired the right spirit and know what Proelium is about. However, regarding the number of AI, always remember that we are talking about Arma 3 and we have worked a lot on balancing the performances. Currently no one has reported fps drops and this is one of the greatest successes of this scenario. Thank you very much, if even after future updates you have new ideas to illustrate, please do so!

Hi BM, Just find out most of your in-game text (such as achievement and bonus/penalty) are not fully localized(English only?).
As a Chinese player and a fan of your great work,if you need Simplified Chinese translate of in-game text, please contact me(via steam if you please).
Yesterday I play with my friends(non of them are good at English),I have to explain all of your features one by one to make them understand:steamfacepalm:
Anyway,i think if your scenario support more language,there will be more players around the world can enjoy your Masterpiece(or should I say:Magnum Opus):steamthumbsup:

Thank you very much for your proposal and for your words. I find it absolutely fantastic and in reality even if Proelium is not completely translated into other languages, each line of text is already inside a Stringtable, therefore prepared for localization. We received another similar valuable offer from a Russian guy, so we will most likely open a dedicated work section on our little Discord server. Once the work is set up, I will contact you both as soon as possible, if in the meantime you would like to join our server you would be welcome.

Hi Komodo! Yeah it is possible. When you are in the lobby set the parameters as you wish, among those you will also find the faction to play with.
BM, you did an excellent job with this Proelium. Congratulations, and thank you for your generosity in maintaining this project. Is Proelium only for the Altis map, or is there a Proelium for other Arma 3 maps? Best regards!

Well, thank you, Solon, for such a wonderful message, it truly makes it all worth it! About your question, we’re on Altis because we’re still in the development phase (missions, mechanics, etc.), and Altis is the ideal testing ground for several reasons. It’s also clearly accessible to everyone, and we wanted Proelium to reach a broader audience rather than just a small group. That said, We might consider starting on a new map in the near future, its not guaranteed, but it’s definitely possible. Thanks again, and feel free to join us on Discord, we’re a great group there.
Thank you for the response and for your dedication to developing Proelium. It’s exciting to see the progress and vision behind it! Altis indeed seems like a solid choice for testing and accessibility.

Just out of curiosity, is it possible for players to join the same squad instead of creating individual squads with AI?

Thank you again! We're glad to see someone else appreciating how the scenario is structured. Thats a great question, we actually plan to allow players to team up in the future. Given the scenario's complexity, it takes time to add new features, like others we’re working on, but we’re hoping to make it happen this year.

I would like to say that with the small amout I played of this misson, it felt like you where getting onto something great.
I just got few things that i would like to say.

1. When the the mssion is genrated, it is basically nigh impossible to the misson area on the map, I've attached link to imgur. ( IMG [imgur.com]) I think simple fix would to be to just a more contrasting colour and make it brighter.
2. The ablity pause the game is really cool and nice, but would there be a way to turn it off? This mode has made me realise how often I alt tab, and I don't wan to keep disrupting the flow of game.
3. The way you need a radio to use supports I think is really cool and well done.
4. Would it be possiable to add a couple more slots for players? As I would like to play with couple more of my friends at once.
5. The med Evac syster seems pretty cool and give a reason why to medevc rather than just die.

I'm sorry if this just seems like i'm critiquing the mod, but I have enjoyed it so far and really like the cool and unique gameplay this has, I hope this keeps getting devloped and wish all the best of luck.

Hello Phire! I wish we could get 'criticized' like this every day! Here are my replies:

1. I see your point, it makes sense. Green is associated with the independent faction, your enemies, but it’s true that it doesn’t stand out much on the map. Your screenshot does seem a bit dim; on our end, the marker is more visible, though you’re right in principle. Have you tried using the hyperlink by clicking on village or minefield, for example? The hyperlink can be found within the task description.

2. I understand, and you’re right again. The pause feature exists because when the host alt-tabs, it might fail to share some data with the client, which could lead to progress loss. Other scenarios don’t focus on this as much, but ours is a bit complex, as you’ve noticed, and we want to make sure everyone’s data is safe (even if it’s a bit annoying). Your observation about alt-tabbing is spot on, this feature made me realize how often I do it myself! We’ll always strive to improve and explore alternatives anyway.

4. At least for now, and likely for the next few months, it’s not possible. I love that you have so many friends (I’m a bit jealous!) and that you’re maybe getting them to play Proelium (thank youuu!), but the structure is designed for 4 players. We’re focusing on building new missions and features for the upcoming updates.

That would be great. We've slowed down with translations, but another pair of eyes would definitely help. Feel free to join Discord when you have time
