Especially when running into bugs/issues I'd welcome you to leave a comment with the error and perhaps a screenshot on what happened. Reproduction steps would also help a great deal.

Ores/Ingots should come next.
Fuel/Fluids will be a bit more troublesome to implement, since you can't add/remove fluid from custom tanks. The script commands only work with prefab tanks for some reason.
