I don't know if it's just me, but the Ice delivery dude isn't spawning. I beat the vampire, and stormed drake towers (well done with those although the Dark Blade Mansion could really do with some optimization, constant loading made movement very glitchy, apologies if this was already raised, I can't say I've read all of the notes), but yeah, main point, I can't go to Bremerton cause I can't deliver the ice to the docks cause that dude isn't spawning in the wastelands.

Even though the barkeep keeps saying "The chiller is the dude over there in the corner".

Regarding Ice Dude: I bet it broke when I merged the maps together. Its probably not properly respawning him. I'll take a look and try to get it fixed ASAP. Unfortunately I'm on call this week so my time is limited :(

Regarding Dark Blade: I haven't heard many people comment on that map (nor have a touched it in a while). What do you mean constant loading? I can definitely look into it though.

Constant loading is my guess. Because the whole thing is just jittery. And it's strictly happening in Dark Blade Mansion and the attached weapon store. All I know is... as long as I don't move everything seems stable. Once my character moves it is like it starts re-rendering / re-loading the map (similar fps drops to when you have just transitioned to a new map, except it's being caused by moving, this is what makes me think it's a loading issue, just note sure why it would be. Best I can relate it to)

And ok, I can wait, just wanted to bring it to your attention. I work weekends though, so I probably won't get to play it more until next week if you don't get to it till the weekend. Kind of a pity, I love this game and haven't been able to convince myself to risk an emulator for it in a long time.

I can stream it for a bit if you would like to see sometime, either this week or next week, if it's not resolved.

I have a guess as to what's happening. I saw something similar on the downtown map and fixed it there.
For whatever reason, the hired runner logic was firing at the end of every move causing terrible performance... I bet its the same thing at Dark Blade. I'll look at it tonight since that should be a quick fix.

I had thought it was going to be a simple issue based on when runners counted their fights, but I was mistaken. The scene was using "7000 cpu"...

It was caused by a very silly mistake on my part and should be better shortly.

That being said, I also expect to merge the outside (and shop) of this scene with the downtown map in the future to save load times.

But getting back to the point, the next update should work MUCH better for you.

What do you mean by "using 7000 cpu"? As in it was trying to run 7000 times in a second?

First off, unfortunately my internet has been really flaky so I couldn't upload the fix last night. :(
I'll try again tonight.

Secondly, I hate to admit it, but I'm not entirely sure what the "7000 cpu" was referring too.

I think it was referring to CPU cycles, so yeah, probably how much it was trying to run per second.
Regardless of the measurement, I believe 1000 cpu represent full use of a single cpu core since that's the default max value.

The next highest scene was in the 2000s though... so 7000 was definitely excessive. ;)

Ok fair enough. And I think it did update. When I loaded into it today it was smooth.

I uh... don't know where to look at the patch version. Haha. I see a 2.0.9, but I'm guessing that's not game version. I see that on the PDA menu.

I've noticed a weird glitch, not entirely sure what causes it. But while in downtown my camera randomly goes back to outside the monorail, over the big square there. Flits to a couple of places in it, also lights the place as if I'm there.
But the thing that makes it really weird, is that it happens when I'm in other downtown areas, like the wastelands, the motel, the club with kitsune (forget the name) and steelflight, or even the dark blade mansion.

If it didn't light the location I would say it was just a control issue or something, but the game itself registers my character as being there for some reason, even though the model is elsewhere. Haven't noticed anything specific as to a trigger, unfortunately.

Hmm... That is a strange one. I'll try and reproduce it later... Its probably either a moving NPC or somehow related to the NPCs I bet...

Hi there,

I have a fun bug in Drake Tower where my hired runners turn 'neutral' when I enter combat. Instead of fighting for me, they just wander around.

I've had this happen on a few different floors (I tried getting into combat at different points to see if it would change).
