[BUG?] Not getting Karma from guys in Jake's apartment building
Found this a few months ago, finally installed and gave it a go, and it's great! I loved the SNES Shadowrun game (I've completed it more times than I can remember), and this is so cool that you put the time and effort into recreating it.

That said, I'm having a weird issue that...might be a bug? The heavy dudes and mages that spawn in the room next to Jake's apartment (the room with two doors) never seem to give me Karma. I haven't done extensive testing, but anecdotally, I can transition to the screen with Glutman's office, kill a couple hitmen with bats, go into the building, kill two heavy dudes with guns, come back out and kill another hitman, and I seem to get a Karma at about that point (ish, I haven't paid too much attention). But with the guys next to Jake's apartment, I've killed 10+ of them walking out of the room, waiting a bit, then walking back in, and have never gotten a single Karma.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I hope so, because farming Karma in that specific room was always how I got started in the SNES game, and it's making me a bit sad that I'm having to run around and farm elsewhere because of this.

Hmm... Last I played they were giving Karma correctly... but I'll have to double check that it didn't break because of a random unity update...

So I just tried a short test run - I killed 20 heavy dudes/mages in that room, 2-3 at a time, leaving the room when combat ended, waiting a few seconds, then running back in. I got zero Karma notifications, when I inspect Jake he has zero Karma waiting to be redeemed, and I even slept and clicked Redeem Karma just in case, but still at zero.

What is the expected Karma rate? As I noted before, anecdotally with other enemies in Tenth Street it seems like 6-ish kills / Karma. Maybe those particular enemies just give worse rewards?

In case it matter, my configuration settings are Normal spawn chance and Low grind rate.

Tomorrow I can do another test of "other Tenth Street" areas and actually count kills / Karma, if that helps.

Its a bug!

And a really dumb one at that... :(

I either neglected to copy a function when I merged some maps OR deleted it accidentally when cleaning up the scene...

The reason you aren't gaining any XP from them is they are XP2 (so 4 kills for 1 karma) and everyone else in that section of the map is XP1 (8 kills/1 karma)...

And this is a high enough priority one that I should get off my tail and push an update...
I should be at my computer long enough to push out an update on the weekend.

The actual fix is quick and easy... I just did it for that scene... The challenge is I need to go through ALL the scenes and make sure I wasn't similarly careless. That is why I won't push an update right away.

FIXED!
This was a problem is a LOT of scenes.
Now I just hope republishing after so long didn't break anything.

That's awesome! Over the week, I finished a run through of the mod and got the "bad" ending, and had a lot of fun. Now that this is updated, I'll give it another run and try to get the "good" ending.
