I expect to update ALL the loading screens to better represent the scenes AND be more readable!
I'm not sure when, but yeah, I know its massively hard to read some of them!
Ya that would be great, the way it is now its so hard to read.
Also, about how complete is the game as far as content goes? Are you going for a 1:1 recreation or are you going to change/add/remove certain elements? I never played the original on the SNES because the controls are just too bad, but would really like to play through it with your version. What I did play was a lot of fun and way better than the dead man's switch.
But ya, thanks for all the effort you are putting into this mod, it's really great. This is what PC gaming is all about!
Regarding content, almost all of the original game text is included in the mod. I managed to find the ripped game text online. We have added bits and pieces to the mod to make it a little more user friendly (such as some hints on how to proceed in places people typically get stuck).
Eventually we hope to add "quests" for people who want easy mode as well.
As for how much is there, its playable end to end, but there are definitely bugs around and its not balanced. I'm actually on my computer tonight to look into a bug which is preventing someone from finishing the game...
TL;DR - We are going for a slightly enhanced 1:1 recreation. Nothing is being removed, but some scenes are being made more interesting so its not strictly hack and slash while invisible to win (like the original)
I hope that answers your question!
