Hi and thanks again for contribution and communication. I just wanted to point out that I had units spawning to close to me (cloud see them spawn) and even vehicles full of guys spawned very close. Maybe you can set the spawning range to 450-500m or more?

@BonerLord///Jack No worries man, I've upped the spawn distance for the ambient patrols. Ambient infantry now spawn at a minimum of 500m and ambient vehicle patrols spawn at a minimum of 1000m

Thank you! really enjoy it, just hiring some NPCs would be nice.
Maybe something like recruiting them at the camps from an object and they spawn after paying for them.
Otherwise I had way to many loot boxes spawning in towns, one time it was full of loot boxes and zeds and raiders and survivors, was the first time it got a bit laggy but was still fun.

Hmmm.... may look at reducing the amount of loot boxes just a little. Possibly zeds just a little?

I've kept the amount of AI to smaller numbers but frequent enough to keep it fun.

Towns and AI in combat make arma choppy as he'll though.

Ok I think the amount of AI or Zeds is fine, the hordes forming are real fun.
It's just Ravage spawns loot items, and for me i had these boxes everywhere.
I will investigate this more, but I'm sure the AI spawning distance increase might also help in cities

I've reduced the amount of loot boxes a little. Think I did go a bit overboard on them lol. I've also added AI that you can hire in safe zones. Walk up to an AI and use the add action that pops up.

I haven't touched the AI spawn distance for loot zones however having AI spawn further out can also cause performance issues.

It's much better now the performance in cities, but I think there are still to many loot boxes like 25% less would probably do it, still be rewarding.

Other than that, I kinda miss the survival aspect in this mission. I haven't even once found a gutting knife and shot and cooked a rabbit.. Also other animals would be cool like sheep if they would spawn rarely, I know that Anderson has a script just for the animals to spawn.
I just think this + hunting in general are a very important aspects of Ravage (kill animals, make a camp cook and don't get killed while doing so, especially out on mission) very immersive.
Also having no survival mechanics like no bleeding, no radiation or no infection are boring and also a very important part of a immersive survival mission.
Please at least add bleeding or infections (infection would still makes sense even tho everyone is already full of the virus and turns on death, because the infection could kill you directly, faster and turn)
I'm not asking for adding ACE and fishing ^^ lol
But please some basic hunting and survival stuff is needed..

Fair enough. I've never really used the hunting stuff in ravage. Keep forgetting about the gutting knife. Sorry. I'll see about adding that in and maybe putting in some animal spawns. I've avoided using vandeansons mod because it has very noticeable performance impact especially on lower end CPU's. I'll still bug fix anything that gets reported very quickly however I'll look to adding this in by next weekend.

Also I've got a camping script from one of my other unfinished projects that I could maybe implement. Would have to think about it though cause of the other mechanics already in the mission

OK cool, no rush. That would be great if you could improve the hunting aspect of this mission.
Yes the Vandeason mod, lol I just saw I wrote Anderson :D probably to high that day...
You could try your script, I don't mind testing the script but I'm sure the mechanics which are there already are enough if implemented right, at least for me.
Wouldn't mind an extension or improved hunting in ravage and feed the camp.

I've updated the mission. I've added an animal spawn script and properly added in the gutting knife. It should now spawn properly. You can buy it from Barmen or find it by random in loot zones or on dead bodies.

Also I don't see any reason why you couldn't play with Vandeanson's mod if you want. You may have to adjust it's CBA settings if you don't want things to get overwhelming. Can't see any reason my scripts would be incompatible with it though as they don't really mess with anything deep in the game.

I love the scenario immensely so far! Only thing I can recommend is giving players an option for a tougher start. Instead an AKM, level 4 helmet, level 3 armor rig, and a backpack. How about just starting with a Makarov, a med-kit and a few mags?

It's possible your running an older version where I forgot to turn off the test mode. I've done a quick play test and I spawn with the gear I should have. May need to re-subscribe and restart. Thank you for playing and I'm glad your enjoying this scenario.

Yea, I discovered that it spawned me with the gear within the image you used, but after on restart it just fixed it. lol
Oh it came to my attention too to ask if multiplayer would be possible, I have some friends that would love playing this together.

I had thought about making this possible to play in co-op however making this multiplayer would be a beast of a task. I would have to change allot of the code to make it work with multiple people in the same game. Plus would need testing before release. It could be done but i would need some help..... and the time.
