Biological Warfare
Additional Pathogens/ diseases
I think there should be more diseases, to fight enemies with. So if you have an idea for a new ones you can write them here. Because It is bothering me a bit that there are 3 viruses but only 2 parasites and bacterias, also the more you have to infect raiders with the more fun it is. (I dunno if you can even say that with biological weapons) .-. XD

My first disease is: Anthrax (I hope this is the actual english name for it, because here in germany it is called "Milzbrand") Anyway: Anthrax is a real world disease caused by a bacteria named: Bacillus anthracis. It is an infectios skin disease that causes skin lesions which can lead to necrotic death of the affected and can lead to death if left untreated due to wound infections. I would intergrate the skin Anthrax (it can also affect lungs or the Gastrointernals). The pawns can get infected by contact with infected by treating their wounds without protection while having open untreated wounds. Communicapable disease mod integration, perhaps???. In addition a new way to get infected unlike any other disease is by eating infected flesh, butchered raw meat and corpse eating as well (human or animals who died with or by the diseased). Meals can also be affected, however with a lowered chance due to the heat when cooking. The disease causes a lot of pain on the infected skin and leads to death if left untreated. It processes slower than wound infections and can cause additional wound infections if not tended regularely. The pathogen would be eighter orange or purple.
The second disease is a frozen parasite which is inspired by the parasite in the movie "The Thaw". It can be most commonly found in the Odyssey Biome Glacial plain in the mammots or in the ice there, but also very rarely in polarbears and the ice on the base-game biome Ice sheet, just like in the movie. The infection isn't at first know (hidden hediff), but shows symptoms like falling asleep faster at first, then randomly collapsing because of tiredness (sleep bar depletes at up to 3 times the speed) and lastly pawns start to vomit more and more as the disease progresses and the body tries to fight the infection but can't. Infection occurs through contact with the infected fresh or rotten corpses also meat of the butchered corpses both raw and proccessed in meals as the parasite is able to survive the heat it doesn't matter if you cook it or not. Corpses also rot faster if were infected depending on how the progress of the parasite was as they died. Corpses rotten to the bone (which occurs faster as the parasite consumes the flesh) are safe and unable to infect. The corpse bile is extremly infectious, giving an instant 10% infection process on first contact (effect if already infected +1% disease progress per hour standing on it) and also a message that when pawns walk over it if they get infected if there weren't already. Infection through corpse gas is also possible but only if you get lung rot from a infected corpse (might be a bit much though). If a corpse is rotten to the bone the parasites will burrow into the soil where they stay for a configurable time (7 days by default) unable to infect. After the 7 or what ever time was configured days they will evolve into a single insect that seeks out any living entity biting them. The first bite infects the victim with the parasite infection (known immediantly with a message). Each additionall bite progresses the disease by 5% (configurable). The disease is 100% lethal and it require glitterworld medicine or higher to cure, the vaccine which makes permanently immune and cures or a parasite pill made with industrial medicine and neutroamine at the druglab which cures the infection but doesn't make the pawn immune to it allowing infection again after the effect wears of (1 day). (Herbal medicine slows down the disease progress by 10% and industrial Medicine slows down the disease by 30% (configurable) but can't cure it. If the infection reaches 100% the victim dies (oviously duh). Pathogen color is light blue or dark blue.

Whoa there, pardner. User Blue Eagle's working on updating this mod as we speak. I think they're a bit busy to be taking requests right now.

But a "Pathogen Genetics" add-on, where each Disease Sample has different properties that can be interchanged by breeding different pathogens together, does sound like a cool idea. I'll see about running the idea by Mlie or TurtleShroom once Biological Warfare gets its 1.6 update.
