Post-Epoch: What's next? A heartfelt message.
As Epoch's planned updates come to an end, let's discuss what's going to come next. But first, let me get emotional.

This project took a shockingly short amount of time, and I'm amazed it didn't take longer. Through this time, I had many sleepless nights, poured so much work into this mod, and almost experienced burnout. I even considered dropping this project early-on, like I had done before with another project. Nevertheless, I'm shocked how I managed to complete this project.

With Version 9's upcoming release, marking the end of all planned content, I can't help but look at what to do next. Nothing's stimulating anymore, nothing except modding, except coding, gamedevving. I could go back to just doing Godot, making my game every day, but often I encounter road blocks.

So, what is coming next? Let me introduce to you,
Phasetech: Pride of Gods
Name may or may not change.

Phasetech POG, or just "Phasetech", is intended to be a full-inclusion standalone mod with references to others, e.g. ACOT. It's intended to have its' own progression system similar to that one Nanite mod, and should provide a lot of content.

There will be five tiers:
- Rudimentary Phasetech: This tier will be effectively T1 - T2 techs - good for starting out. No big guns, some OK buildings, but problematic inefficiencies.
- Basic Phasetech: Effectively T3, these techs and equipments cover everything. A good upgrade for late earlygame to early midgame, but leaves more to be desired.
- Advanced Phasetech: The T5 of the tiers, these techs are staggering in comparison to the past two tiers. Good for midgame.
- Mastercraft Phasetech: The "Alpha" (ACOT) of the tiers, these techs are strong as hell. What more can I say?
- Universe Phasetech: The endgame tier. You are a god. You've completed the game.

And there are three resources:
- Phase Matter (or Phasemass): 1 unit is made from 50 Energy Credits, 25 Alloys, and 10 Dark Matter.
- Phase Energy (or Phasewave): 1 unit is made from 50 Energy Credits and 25 Dark Matter.
- Phasic Research Point: Made from a 2+1 combination of Phasemass and Phasewave. Used for the custom research tree.

Of course, this is all planned, and still being thought about.

In any case, I look forward to what's coming soon. It's been damn fun working with all y'all, and I appreciate the time and effort y'all take to provide feedback and mess around with my mod.
