The flag of your base.
I want the mod to be able to set the base flag. Then the mod will know where not to spawn bandits. And will be forced to spawn them behind the base.
+ I would add the ability for the mod to change the parameter in the sandbox that disables the ability to spawn near the base. And then we have a gameplay that we will meet bandits only when we explore the world.

lets reverse this, how about bandits set a flag and you can't go into their place, is that fair?

That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about preventing bandits from spawning in your home.

If you check this flag, the mod will know that you do not need to spawn them in the middle of the base. And he will spawn them behind the base and then the bandits will run and attack your base. Then allied NPCs will be able to detect them and shoot at them.

You can also add a mechanic that if there is a flag, there will be more bandits. Because then, logically, bandits know that this is your base and will send larger groups of enemies to it. And maybe from different sides.

Thats a great idea, sometimes bandits do spawn inside the building you are in regardless of the minimum distance you have set in the options, mostly in the 2 story buildings or when you reload the game. I don't know that much about modding so I'm just saying as a freeloader but it would be much more stable if made possible.
