Mercs will get stuck in geometry and in most cases resolve itself in unreachable places of maps according to the 2022 fix made by another user.

As of testing this, only being stuck in geometry seems to be the main issue.

Mercs would have their weapons placed under their model, there is a likely chance that they aren't able to shoot.

something like this?

Mercs that have died leave their 'alive' selves in place before disappearing.

This looks like it's only deaths affected by bullets, explosions are an exceptions it looks like.

Mercs aggro on the first enemy npc they detect and will not target other nearby enemies.

I tried to make them not get stuck in geometry (but failed)

about the error it is most likely because of some tf2 swep mod
