Is it OK to change the color of the hands?
When playing *Haven games, I like to change the colors of the seats to match the color of that character's cards. E.G. seat 3 is normally Blue, but if that player is playing Banner Spear (whose cards are Yellow), I like to change Seat 3 to Yellow. I do this with the Zone-Hands tool, just changing the color of the existing Hands zones.

Do we know if this would cause problems with the scripting down the road?

Yeah, this will cause problems with scripting, since the player numbers are matched to the given colors in the mod.
