Feature Request: Leave Units in Wounded State
Lifeline Revive is the most user-friendly and MOD-compatible revive system I have ever seen. Good work!

One feature that I think would take this from "realistic" to "simulator" would be to have an option available in the settings to make it so that units that are revived stay "down" in a "wounded state." In other words, the units receive first aid, but they are still too injured to to anything and need to be evacuated from the battlefield as a casualty. It is unrealistic to have a unit be "revived" completely in the field to be able to keep fighting.

This shouldn't be too hard to implement; once units are "revived," they can simply continue to play one of the various "Lying Wounded" animations available in the vanilla game, similar to how when players treat an incapacitated unit with the Advanced Combat Medicine (ACM) mod, the injured unit can be healed and awakened but stays lying on the ground.

Lifeline Revive is the best mod for ACE Medical + ACM that allows a.i. to autonomously treat their wounded squad members, but I think this one change would make a night and day difference for making it feel more realistic. Again, this could be a simple option in the settings that allow players to decide whether to allow units to be completely revived (as it is currently, fun for gameplay) vs. continuing to lay down and needing to be evacuated (simulator).

Thanks!

yeah someone else also suggested this, indeed it would be more realistic. I wonder if there are any stretcher animations....
will have a look at keeping units in injured animation as an option. Just wondering the medivac animation / system
That would be great! Thank you so much.
Oh and btw: I am not sure about animations, but I think it would be left to the mission creator to script the whole MEDEVAC process; IMO there's no need to worry about adding all that to your mod (unless you want to). The mission creator can simply use the "attachTo" command and the "carried_dead" animation to assign someone from the group to pick up the wounded unit and move it toward the arriving MEDEVAC vehicle, then use the "loadInCargo" command and set the wounded unit's group to "null."

I was able to do all of the above for a unit that remained in the ACE Medical "incapacitated" state without too much trouble. I think a whole a.i. MEDEVAC process would be outside the scope of your mod, unless you wanted to script it (which would be really cool). For most mission creators, though, Lifeline Revive would just be a way for a.i. to keep their squadmates alive during the MEDEVAC process that mission creators script themselves.

Yeah I like this idea, an option for this so CASEVAC missions become a thing diversifying the experience we get in Arma
