Deux choses déja qui diffère du launcher/installer traditionnel MOD SI :
-> J'ai accès désormais à l'arborescence 3350521733\Data\XML\AI + 3350521733\Data\SCRIPTS\AI avec celui du workshop. Je vais pouvoir commencer a creuser.
-> Je remarque aussi que le logo du menu principal du mod est celui de FOC, et non pas celui de SI comme à l'origine, j'imagine que c'est lié au fonctionnement du workshop (peut-être?)
Je vais retenter une campagne SI dans le weekend et la pousser jusqu'à mois 70~90, je verrais si le lag IA se remet en place ou si les Yuuzhan Vong sont toujours aussi "carnassier" en terme de conquête galactique

As it turns out, there are many anonymous heroes to bring this mod out from beyond the grave!
Many of us know the SI mod among French speakers, personally I have known it since the very beginning.
(I even remember the first SI mods which were only for EAW and not for FOC, I would love to get my hands on them again, but these versions are unfortunately impossible to find because they are too old..)
-> So, already, a big thank you for this upload, the mod was "abandoned" around 2020-2021 and the games-strategy forum is experiencing its last moments, given its current state.

While we're talking mod, I'm going to take this opportunity to finally share my experience on a redundant fault on it:
- I have the gold pack, whether in CD, GOG or STEAM version.
- I've turned the mod over in all directions: different installs, different hardware setups, different patch applications and I'm still facing the same difficulty (I don't know if others have encountered it)
-> The particularity of the mod is that the opposing AI is much more "lively" and "active" than in the base game:
it increases the number of unnecessary trips between the planets of its territory, which has the consequence of significantly slowing down the campaign, especially in endgame, which is extremely frustrating given the quality and content of the mod.
If you want a concrete example: Launch an SI campaign "Hunting on the inner border", take the empire (no matter the difficulty, the AI remains cursed)
, look at the planet GYNDINE and make time speed up:
in 2-3-4 months, you will see the rebel AI making a bunch of "useless" trips between several planets.
The problem being that this too much movement has the result of significantly slowing down the game,
regardless of the hardware configuration you have behind it (cross-test carried out on three different workstations for your information)
In my memory, I don't know why but it became undrinkable with the months that passed in the campaign, to the point that between months 50~80, the campaign became unplayable, even at normal speed.
Question :
Have you ever encountered this problem?
It is unfortunately recurring in all SI campaigns, and it greatly spoils the gaming experience.
Because suffice to say, this mod is a saint among saints, it brings together a titanic work of several FR enthusiasts for more than ten years, to provide the EAW base game with all the best of the LORE of the SW universe.
For information,
I recently tried via notepad++ and chatgpt + increased research on different modding forums, to modify the config_SI.xml file to try to "calm" the AI or make it "vegetative", but unfortunately my attempts on the subject is currently unsuccessful..
-> With the release of the MOD SI on the workshop, I will try the same tests to see if I encounter the same fault, I will let you know again.
