Gunchap Red, If you don't mind could you post a full list of mods you use so I can try to figure out where your problem with city-states and civs spawning together is coming from?

Like I said, I could only replicate the bug in multiplayer myself, but I know that any mod that affects the AdvancedSetup screen will interfere with this mod in single player.

Hang on, my mod setup is pretty large and messy. Whilst I try to make a list here, could you please remove our comments from the post? I feel bad for the spam.

Here's a pastebin for the log file with my mod list. Gonna keep testing and experimenting as well. Be sure to delete the space.

I'm sorry for the hassle. For what its worth, i love the mod, and was gonna request patches for some of Strudeler and Gedemo's mods before the crashes happened.

Not at all! This affects me as well. As far as I can tell, none of those mods should conflict with this mod. Can you explain again what the issue has been and how you've gotten around it?
If you’re referring to the bug where the start game button wasn’t working, then here’s that.

I would set up my game like normal, but nothing would happen when I clicked “Start Game” nothing would happen. I got around it by remaking my usual game preset with the settings I want, saving it, disabling this mod, restarting the game, and then loading that preset when I go to make a new game.

As for the crash, thats an entirely new issue yhat I don’t know much about yet. Currently investigating Lime’s mods as they’re the other thing that ended up changing about my mod list recently.

And this is all in singleplayer?

Yes, I don’t play multiplayer

And this is on pc? I don't think any of those mods would interfere but I don't know for sure which ones have an AdvancedSetup script replacement. Luckily I have put together a tool that searches all mods for ones that have matching file names. If you're comfortable running a program for me and reporting back with the results that might help.

The main thing I would be looking for is which mods have an AdvancedSetup.lua file in them so if you have a better way to find that, by all means use that instead.
I’ll go ahead and give this a run once I’m off work. And don’t worry, I trust you.
Can confirm, the crashing was completely unrelated to this mod. Found the actual culprit.

It almost might not work at all, which I've had some people report. So it might be useless anyway
I tested it, and it semed to work fine. It however, didn't find any versions of AdvancedSetup that haven't already been patched. I even checked myself and found nothing. Everything else it told me wasn't useful, as it was just highlighting similar files from MC's civ mods.
@Fuzzle

After some more testing, I have finally concluded that the mod causing the start game button bug, to the shock of no one, sukitract's Civ select screen.

At this point, if it weren't such a valuable mod to me, I would've gotten rid of it by now. Makes you wonder if it's possible to make a more compatible version, and if so, why someone hasn't.

Regardless, seems like you might have to improve your patch some more. And I also believe that my workaround for the bug is potentially what's causing the bug where a city state can spawn in the same game as the civ that matches it.
