As far as I know currently you can only easily remove it from a local instance by having the host change the setting in the CBA addon options and then restarting. If you're running on a dedicated server though, it's more difficult.
If you have a Zeus addon (Achilles) which gives you the ability to add objects to be editable, perform the 'Add Object to Zeus' at the center of the fire and delete whatever came out from it (Usually has a Land Mine icon)
It's still enabled by default on Eden editor.
For the love of god:
In ArmA main menu click Options
then click Addon Options
The next to "ADDON:" by default it will be "CBA UI" click on it and select "MCC General" there you will find "Ambient fire"
