There are five separate rituals that can all increase the blessing level. The Cult Demagogue can sacrifice cultists to do so, and each Chaos God's commanders have a unique ritual to gain additional blessing levels.

The prices for things are largely based around the vanilla game + my other mods. The Daemons are summoned at a markup compared to the mono-god factions, to balance out the fact that you get all four deities' daemons.

The daemons are quite powerful, hence the cost of acquiring them. It’s the Heralds, Daemon Princes and Greater Daemons who can cast the blessing increase rituals.

I do apologize if I’m a touch insulted- though I am curious what your criticisms are, beyond the cost of rituals.

The price on the renegades could probably do with a reduction, true. Currently, it’s 1:1 with the loyalist guardsmen, who always carry a lasgun- the iron cost is mostly just paying for the lasguns.

Yeah, it sounds like that other mod just isn’t balanced. 42 gold and 5 iron would make it cheaper than vanilla swordsmen. I’ve paid no attention at all to that mod, with regards to what I’m doing with my own mods.

With regards to my other mods, the Lost and the Damned are mostly balanced. Against the vanilla game, they’re already extremely powerful- and I’m planning an overall numbers boost to my mods in the near-ish future.

I’m still not going to be pulling from that mod at all. I don’t have much of any interest in it, and I’ve already made equivalents to nearly every faction in the mod- loyalist Astartes and Necrons are the only ones I’m lacking, and Necrons I’ve been actively working on for a few months now, in-between other classes.

I recommend taking a look at how my other mods work- I think I’ve done a better take on Tyranids, at the very least. Also, I’d like to think my art fits better with the game than shrunk model images do.

If you’re interested in Chaos, this is the third Chaos class I’ve made- the others being Death Guard and Thousand Sons. Death Guard have an active update in the works, and will have a lot of new Astartes units soon.
