Deathknight,
Normal difficulty. "Army of the Dead" skill. I leveled the skill up so that one of the warriors is a Stalwart Commander, but he doesn't seem to do anything but walk VERY slowly. I don't like my characters to move slow, so I've put lots of points into the passive skill that gets the Deathknight to run faster. All of the other warriors run very fast, so this Commander fellow is being a deadbeat, lol.

Wow! I finally saw him manage to get near a big robot and he actually hit the thing 3 times! Usually, the others have already killed whatever it is.

I was fighting the Guardian of Mana and I couldn't tell if my warriors were still with me. Perhaps they are immortal? But I wasn't sure, so I summoned them again a few times because I wanted to see if this Commander deals more damage than the others. I gave up trying to observe him because the Guardian moves too fast and I can't mouse over her if I'm circling around her to let the guy hit her. Anyway, now I have 4 warriors plus the Commander. The skill says the Commander replaces one of the warriors, and I had only 3 warriors and the Commander before I started brawling with the Guardian.

I finally lost 3 of the warriors doing one of Cacklespit's quests. The Commander continues to walk right past most everything that the rest of us are hitting, but mostly he's just off somewhere way back behind us.

Same "Army of the Dead" skill:
The Archer moves fast, but when the fighting starts he's usually running away, and often it's very far away. If he ever decides to shoot, everything is almost dead anyway. I'll keep leveling the skill to see what the Magus does.
EDIT: Yup, if he's not running away, he's often just meandering around the fight area while everyone else is doing their job. I'm not using any skeleton spell or archer spell skills. It's just my pet and this little band of undead stuff. My pet sometimes casts some zombies.

My character is level 46 now, and we are in a level 48 mapworks map at the moment.

The "Army of the Dead" skill can now summon the Magus. His purple turnstile thing now does a lot of damage to my character. :cozybrawlhalla1:
This is the first time I've gotten a skill on TL2 that gets worse and worse as it levels up. :steamhappy:

I'm going to try a respec potion from the Toy Collector mod that's also loaded with this mod and see if using it breaks things like it does on some mods. Wish me luck!

Other than the issues with this skill, I've really been enjoying the Deathknight. If I can get a respec potion to work I just won't level the skill up anymore until you are able to fix it.

I'm now in Cacklespit's Realm and somewhere during the travelling between islands my character stopped being tracked on the map. I'm hoping that will get fixed when I exit this dungeon. If not, then I'll try exiting to the title screen or the game and see if everything works well when I go back in.

UPDATE: Fixed itself when I exited the dungeon.
2nd UPDATE: The respec potion worked fine!

@ HiFive
thanks for putting the Deathknight through its paces! :steamhappy:

so far i've fixed:
- the Commander not following you around
- removed the Magus energy ball attack

Runic coded the energy ball as a Pet, which was messing with the skill's targeting.
i may go back, make a copy of it and re-implement it at a later date.

the Archer's sight or chase radius is probably not far enough. looking into it

Good to hear. I hope you didn't mind me joking around about the skill, but it WAS funny. I did a respec on the Deathknight and just having the 4 warriors works very well (at least for Normal difficulty), but the idea of getting these other types of helpers was something exiting to look forward to . . . . well, until I saw how bad they were at their jobs. My Deathknight has finished the storyline. I'm halfway thru with another class and I'm looking forward to trying all of the others.
