IMPORTANT - ISSUES, BUGS, AND FAQS
Before you comment about a possible bug or issue, please look at the following information:

1.) THE MOD WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY UNLESS YOU ARE PLAYING ON THE GATE OF HORN BETA BRANCH. You can access this beta branch by right clicking on CultSim in your library, going to Properties, then going to the Betas section and selecting the appropriate option. If you did this right, you should hear the custom soundtrack play when you start the run/

2.) THE MOD WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY UNLESS YOU HAVE THE DEPENDENCY MODS INSTALLED AND IN THE RIGHT ORDER. Your enabled mod order should go, from top/first loaded to bottom/last loaded:
  • Ghirbi
  • Roost
  • Contemnant
  • Proterant
  • Obdurant

3.) You should also ensure you are using the most up to date version of each mod; unsubbing and resubbing to each mod should be the easiest way to guarantee that if you suspect something isn't updated.

UNIQUE MECHANICS
Contemnant also takes away several tools available to players in Obdurant/Proterant, but offers several alternative tools/methods to help mitigate those weaknesses.

1.) Provision events now need you to supply an Ally or your lore in order to actually acquire Provisions, and there is a chance to fail at this rather than automatically receive like in Obdurant Proterant. However, enemy, ally, and neutral corpses can all be put into the Relinquish verb to be turned into Provisions. This has a 45% to produce infamy, and 25% chance to make Refugee allies leave your service. Eating Unnatural Corpses from Otherworldly enemies produces 2 Provisions, and does not cause Refugee allies to try and leave you. Scouting in the Ruined Country also has a chance to reveal a Farm you can raid for supplies (this happens once per trip through the Ruined Country).

2.) You cannot ask for reinforcements when at a Warzone. However, placing the Ruined Country card in Communicate will let you draw a random group of Refugees and/or Deserters you can recruit. This can be done once per trip through the Ruined Country, including at the very start before you reach the first Warzone. You can also give Provisions to neutral Soviet units at your Warzone to recruit them temporarily, but remember that they will turn on you if you have 3 or more Infamy.

3.) Refugee units do not have very high aspects. However, you can hide your Allies by putting them into the Communicate with Sewers, Ruins, Woods, or Night. This will make them untargetable by Enemy attacks (except for the Edge Long) and give them a large boost to their aspects - useful if you're having trouble meeting the gap on an enemy with higher thresholds. Dreg Soldiers, Arsonists, and Scavengers can also be hidden this way. However, if a Hidden Ally is used, exhausted by some means, or injured, they will lose Hidden status.

4.) You can find useful items like Armour-Piercing Munitions, Explosives, and Flares by looting fallen Enemies and Neutrals. Place an Ally into Communicate with a corpse and you will be able to loot it. Sometimes this produces nothing.

♥♥♥♥... all the way to berlin and almost become name, try to fight edge long at berlin, think it will be epic.
and after foe call the exile, the game just spam enemy attack and then stuck... restart don't work just black screen of death.
I did play with roost at the bottom and the version is also not gate of horn before the restart .. don't know if it is the reason cause this.....
damn.. 10hr perish..

Going to Sobibor with That Old Nightmare says it doesn't allow your allies to go with you. Do they return to you when you leave Sobibor? Or is this something that's best to do when you're ready to commit to going it alone?

@Touhou - Yeah if you don't play with the correct mod order/on a version that is not the correct beta branch as stated on the page, I cannot guarantee your game will be functioning properly

@Topdjc - No one will return to you after you go to Sobibor, so make sure you're ready before going there

Is an "enemy actions" verb or whatever it's called supposed to generate upon arrive in Sobibor? I arrive and a bunch of special enemies generate, but no corresponding verb. It didn't generate after I used Reconnoitre a few times either, and it didn't seem to be unveiling the hidden cards even when I had three trauma.

There should be an Enemy Action verb that starts when you get to Sobibor yeah, but if you arrived with 3 Trauma already the verb wouldn't appear upon arrival. Fixed pushed for that issue just now.

My problem happens again with the correct setup now, once foe call the exile in Berlin, it spam all kind of circle and than stuck, restart only give me black screen and nonstop circle noice.
the only other mod I am using is the wheel mod.
mind take a look at this? seems like a real problem .

another 6hr... I really should test it with dev command instead of go through all this again..

@Touhou I didn't have the issue you're talking about so it might be that wheel mod is causing it.

I kinda doubt it, since the wheel is just a fast mode mod. and I play all the way to Berlin without problem.

sorry to do it this way, the log is a bit bloated. and DC message require friend.
mac os, might just be that I didn't update all the require environment, since I just download back this game for your awesome mod.
I already restart a few time, so unfortunately there's no initial bug log.

It hit again after all the update I did, not in Berlin, seems happens when edge long call another. Probably come from the Mac OS.
I didn't restart the game this time, so it might be easier to find the error than last time.

How do I use Ally Wolf-Wrake ability? I try to block with wrake but it doesn't work. Does the enemy need to magnet the wrake into an attack?
Game crashed and possibly bricked the save when trying to slay my long opponents. I scored a wound on Duffore, he summoned the Exile, then about twelve timers tried to spawn simultaneously (resupply, weather, multiple attacks, a wound on me, 'sleeping on the ground' and others) as an enemy plane swapped from refueling to present. The game began to run slow, then sped up but was trapped in what appeared to be repeating the same moment over and over again. Quit, reloaded the save, it now goes to a black screen with the music playing (which it doesn't during the mod, usually), while the 'card refresh' click played over and over again.

Am I cooked? I had a great run and had almost won and dont know if I've got it in me to start from scratch again.
I read the hints for wolf shrine. It needs a shadow-of-wolfdivided to change main task into raze. But I searched in the json files, there are only two places can scout for shadow-of-wolfdivided, they are wolf shrine and Berlin. On the other hand, I can use unmake to get shadow-of-wolfdivided, but it also needs a shadow-of-wolfdivided to activate sustain. That is, where can I get my first shadow-of-wolfdivided to start my trip.
