Mod does not appear even after a restart?
This is the first mod I've had this problem with. I click on it to add the checkmark and after backing out I am prompted to restart. I do so and the mod still appears not applied. Anyone else have this problem? Am I missing an obvious step? I've just barely returned to this game after a year.

Hello @NobleBunghole!
That's a weird issue, never faced something like that, but let's try to find a solution to it!
First you can try to unsubscribe to the mod and re-subscribe to it, then enable the mod in-game and see if the mod remain enabled
I think it has to do with my game or something, I've uninstalled it entirely, deleted the game files and workshop files manually, and still can't get your mod or other mods to install. Thanks for the response though. No luck yet fixing anything

That’s odd, I’m not sure what the issue could be, but let’s try to troubleshoot it.

Are you on Mac or PC?

Is it just my mod that isn’t working, or are no mods installing at all?

Just to confirm the process, here’s how to properly install and enable a mod:

1. Subscribe to the mod on the Steam Workshop by clicking the little “+” icon. This will download the mod.

2. Launch the game, and on the Main Menu, click the "Mods" button in the bottom right corner.

3. This opens the Mods page, where you’ll see all the mods you’re subscribed to.

4. Hover over the mod you want to enable, you’ll see a thumb icon and a checkmark icon.

5. Click the checkmark icon to enable the mod.

6. Press ESC to exit the Mods page. The game will prompt you to restart — go ahead and restart it. After that, the mod will be active.

For my mod specifically:
It adds a new Unit, but to use it, you’ll first need to create a Squad using that unit.

Here’s how:

1. From the Main Menu, click the "Squad" button in the top right.

2. Click "Add" to create a new Squad.

3. Browse the available unit options and look for the XOF Unit.

4. Select it, confirm your choice, and you’re all set!

Let me know if anything still isn’t working, happy to help!
