There's problem with suits - suit doesn't protect from short circuit

You must have an Exo Suit, normal human suits do not protect you

I have tested a lot regarding "Charging" and I will explain how it works. If you play as a robot you can charge yourself with a fuel rod and a battery, all you have to do is press the "H" button and all you have to do is pull the fuel rod to your chest, it works the same way with the battery. As for the "Exo Suit", you only charge it with a battery

Thank you for the reply.

I am familiar with how the original mod recharging system works, and the problem is that no other item besides the "desposable battery" can be used to recharge the robot. All other batteries and rods are straight up grayed-out and nothing happens when i drag them to the torso on the health tab.

Also it should be noted that the health tab shows only the desposable battery in the "suitable treatments" section.

Im pretty sure its a bug because in the original version of the mod you were able to just drag any energy source onto the character icon and it will work even if you didnt open the health tab.

Still, thank you for reviving this mod, its just too awesome! :steamhappy:

The way to charge the Robot has not changed and it still has the same function as the original Mod.

I am sending my recording to prove that it works normally

Make sure you are using the Mod "Robotrauma Remake" itself

Edit: And I also thank you for wanting to help me so much.

Okay... I have disabled all my mods except for robotrauma and everything now works correctly.

I apologise for wasting your time :(

Nothing happened XD. Everyone learns from mistakes, and I understand that 100%

Using Barotraumatic and RoboTrauma prevents us from using any recharge devices except with basic disposable batteries. We have a large mod list, but this appears to be the only combination causing the issue so far.

Thank you for the information that "Barotraumatic" causes some errors with "Robotrauma Remake" but at the moment I am focusing on developing the "Robotrauma Remake" mod itself

Unsure if this is a bug or general stupidity on my end - I couldn't get achievements to work! I tried the simplest one of getting the dunce cap by diving into water with a diving suit, and still couldn't craft it. Is there something I'm missing? (I've tried diving outside of water from the submarine docked and undocked from stations, multiplayer and single player, and nothing came up.)

Thanks and apologies in advance ^^

Yes, you're right, it should give you the Achievement right away. Because to achieve it you have to: "Swim in water with a diving suit on."
A robot can fit into a diving suit, but it doesn't protect it from the water. Is it how it's intended to be?

Yes, that's how it should be. As I mentioned in previous posts, human diving suits do not protect against water when you play as a Robot. You must first create an Exoskeleton that protects you against water.
