TL;DR: Should I use this and discontinue using A-Life complete edition from nexus mods?

As per title, should I use this as as per the description/comments this is more heavier on spawns/mod adjustments as opposed to the nexus one ?

yes. For QoL reasons. At least until that one gets brought to Steam Workshop.
