Wayyyy tankier Rot (being shredded by a drop wig is very common)
edit: its on map, my bad
2. make it easier for artificial to fit into pipes and corridors if possible
3. make it slightly easier for artificial to move through smaller/weaker patches of wormgrass
1. when moving around, the cyst has a little too much momentum, making it easy to overshoot or just fumble where you want to go. i think a 'hold yourself up' toggle would do the trick here.
very simple example: if i have all my tendrils stuck to the floor for movement and press up, the cyst goes up, but when i let go of up the cyst falls immediately. what i mean by 'hold yourself up' here is when you let go of up with it toggled, the cyst tries to "idle" in the location it's in instead of immediately going limp and falling.
2. another movement thing: if, for example, i'm moving down a flat hallway by holding left or right and crawling, the tendrils will sort of hover above the floor unless i press down. this is moooostly fine, but it gave me trouble when i was climbing the wall, because its a little bit of a dance to get your tendrils where you want them to go... and the vultures don't exactly wait patiently for you to finish meddling with the controls lol.
i think having just a liiiittle bit of movement interpreting would fix this, where if the tendril is within a certain range of a stickable surface it goes ahead and auto-sticks when you let go of jump. with this solution, when moving down a flat hallway, the player wouldn't have to press down to stick their footholds when just holding left or right as long as they were close enough to the ground.
very very big apologies if any of this is already on the dev list or is already implemented, these are just the thoughts i had while playing. the rot is already very functional as is! these are mostly just quality-of-life suggestions. no matter if you implement these, it's still very fun!! thank you for the mod!!!
THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS MOD
i think the artificial should make some weird mechanical sounding hisses or something, rn they just meow like a normal scug
