Reccomended additions and tweaks - TO THE DEVELOPERS
OK, I just played the mod as CSA and have a lot to say. This mod is a cool concept with a ton of potential, but it also needs a ton of work first. I'd recommend you work on the following:

CSA Balancing recommendations
-make me start with only negative debuffs for a better buildup; I should not be able to spam a million civs
-make me start with more research, especially regarding air force and navy
-southern economic crisis in beginning should be far worse than it is
-remove the one focus that gives me a ton of military factories
-CSA has far too few build slots
-Add a possible chief of air force because I don't want to take 3 focuses out of the way in order to design an airplane

CSA potential additions
-add more decisions for economy and politics specifically
-make timers for focuses and decisions so that I have to do things by a certain time - makes game play more stressful but also much more rewarding
-implement slavery as a larger issue within the mod, as slavery would be largely outdated by 1936, and there would obviously be a lot of dire consequences to continuing the horrible practice
-Allow CSA slight intervention in British civil war by sending volunteers. The outcome should be of great significance to CSA interests

Second Civil War recommendations
-Please give me proper warning before the war
-War is WAYYYY too easily won
-I recommend adding a Civil War specific focus tree and decisions to CSA

Miscellaneous recommendations
-FIX PEACE DEALS- the AI has no idea what it's doing
-USA flag should have fewer stars to represent it's losses (would be a cool addition IMO)
-USA would also probably take advantage of the British Civil war to take land and make itself stronger
-former British colonies should not stay red in color

Immersion
-The game should be more interactive, and should make me feel truly immersed
-I quit after the USA war because didn't feel immersed enough. Post war content only really works if the player already feels immersed in the game.

@MrClownKid Good idea to have the economic affects reduce building speed. I'll add that in, though the economic crisis is already as bad as the game lets it be since you literally can't produce anything.

As for what each nation should have researched prior to game-start, that was gonna be added in but my only researcher left the team.

If you could provide focus names as to which you're referring to having added military factories, that would help save me time.

Characters like the chief of air force will come but like I said, my only researcher left the team and finding people to fulfill these roles isn't exactly the simplest thing to do.

Good idea for having to take decisions to fix the economy. That will likely be added in a future update.

You need to be more specific by what you mean with "timers for focuses and decisions".

I already included national spirits and events explaining the affects of slavery. Anything further beyond what I have risks the mod being taken down.

Good idea for the CSA intervening in the British civil war, I'll implement that.

There is no prior warning to war. The Ukrainians would have loved to of had that lol. It MAY come when the USA get's a focus tree, but isn't guaranteed. The war is easily won for both sides depending on which the player is, because the AI is retarded and because the Union has no focus tree yet. As for specific focuses involving the war, what would they be like? I already have planned decisions for the war.

Fixing peace deals isn't as easy as you think. The AI is retarded, and I have never worked on HOI4's AI before since I normally only make historical mods.

The former colonies will get new colours eventually, but I only recently figured out how to do it so it will be phased in over time.

Also, I would prefer if you use the suggestions channel in my Discord server for sending messages like these rather than making a post on the Steam page, but your feedback is appreciated.
