I'll start:

The compactor and the refinery should be changed so that I have to queue up the work. Currently, if I don't micromanage their existence, rushing to flip the power switch, they'll both rapidly drain the entirety of my nutrient paste stock into chemfuel and preserved food respectively. That's completely crazy and outright dangerous.

also is there a way you can change the meal taps to not be considered work places? having not much room on my spaceship i'm having to double up my rec room with a throne room and it keeps disrespecting the throne being in the same room, so if this could be looked at that would be much appreciated

Hi, my suggestion is to add compatability to the Connected Bed mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3259209078

This mod adds bed-drippers which supply (or drain) Hemogen, Food (via VNPE) and/or water from DBH. Adding several types for different food tiers wouid be amazing.

Edit: I was not sure which end to suggest this, as both mods are an expansion on the VNPE.

UltraEmailMan, also, regarding this mod, I don't think that compatability should be with it, but with Adaptive Storage Framework itself, cause framework itself adding fridges and not this mod. This mod basically adds only textures and defs for it. This is just a note for my future self.

The Master, ye, quite possible. Rn it using logic of bioferrite harvester, so currently the main way to stop it from continuing to proccess more is to select an upper limit and disable auto unloading. So player could control manually when it need to unload current and start production of next amount.

Kas, nutrient paste feeding tube already covering this related to paste. If it cause issues, then it on the Connected Beds mod side, since VNPERP not changing behaviour of drippers code. Overall from what I see on their mod page it easier for their side to implement other features, since VNPERP is mainly a nutrient paste mod.

UltraEmailMan, looked into it and the way Adaptive Storage Framework make fridges sadly not gonna work with VNPE, since it work only with buildings that was using ASF from the start. But all fridge feeders and hoppers inherit from VNPE classes, which is codded differently.
