Child mortality?
What must be done for the children to survive?
200 turns and no child has yet reached over 12 years of age. Over half of those who die occur after being sent to education...!?

Child mortality is higher to prevent your family to explode with much longer turn times as consequence.

Solution if you want more kids to come of age is to have more kids. To have more kids get more familty members and make sure they are married. There are also a number of traits and retainers that modify chance to have children, some detract and others add.

On turn ~100 I usually have more than 100 family members (all the kids included). My turn times are also up to 4 min...

Brother you are just not lucky with the RNG factor of survival. I have had runs where I experience what you have and others where I have what DoktorFar gets, 100+ family members with 200ish kids running around.
