The latest build of Local ASSmod!
ASSmod without 'prop protection' 'spam protection' or any other limitations that are meant for online servers.

This workshop addon is for those in the gmod community who play with friends on local servers. Those who click "Start New Game" and then setup "2 Players" (or more) no longer need to search or create their own 'admin' tool!

~A note to the developers of the original ASSmod~
The original ASSmod was not created by me nor my associates. I can not find the individual or group that started ASSmod, but none the less, I can not thank them enough for developing the masterpiece ASSmod. In my opinion, ASSmod is one of the best admin tools available for Garry's Mod. With this edition of ASSmod I hope to reel in players who liked ASSmod but disliked some of the "online specific" features.
Thank you for allowing me to continue the legacy of ASSmod.

What is this?
This is a lightweight modification of ASSmod 2.3 (an admin tool) featuring many plugins focusing on LAN players.

How do I use this?
The same as ASSmod! Just bind a key to "+ass_menu"!
Example : bind x "+ass_menu"

How do I give myself ownership for a listening server?
Open the in-game console and use the command: ass_giveownership
(In normal cases, ownership is auto-applied to the host)

How do I give myself ownership for a dedicated server?
There are two ways.
1a) Open ASSmenu, hover over 'Rcon' and click the 'Custom...' button.
1b) Type ass_giveownership "<name here>"
2) Use the dedicated server's console (not the in-game console) and type:
ass_giveownership "<name here>"

What does this distribution of ASSmod have that others do not?
The better thing to ask is "Which features made specifically for online are removed?"
Prop protection, 'grammar mode', spam locks, MOTD, ad-banners, GUI Spam, locked "kill" command, and other annoying restrictions are REMOVED from the addon.
There are exclusive plugins such as "teleport to last death point", and FILM/NPC cloak and bugfixes that other releases do not have.

I want the ONLINE version featuring prop protection, spam locks, and chat limitations
(and lacking this version's bugfixes)

What files do I need to delete to have a "fresh install"?
I have noticed a few people still had Gmod 12 on their system and thus are in the wrong directory when they go to delete these files.
Please go to your Library and Right Click "Garry's Mod" > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files" to get to the proper folder.

Navigate to: \garrysmod\data and delete:
ass_config_client.txt
ass_config_server.txt
ass_rankings.txt
and the "asslog" folder.
