Q&A
As with the Warhammer mod, I'm making this topic for questions and answers.

--

1) Are we getting <X>?
Depends on what you mean by X.

New actors/guns/etc.? Definitely. I still have plans.

Rest assured this is an early beta and it's still growing.

2) What about the Scrin?
Honestly, I don't think CC would really be able to do the scrin any kind of justice. I'm not really a huge fan of them as a faction either- I mean, their gameplay in C&C3 was kinda fun, but on the whole I think they could have been handled much better post-TS.

--

3) Vehicles?
Big no, I'm afraid. The engine Cortex Command runs on only really supports humanoid actors, rockets, twin-engine dropships, and crab-like walker/turret units. Whilst vehicles are technically plausible, it requires a pretty significant investment of time and energy.

Combine this with the limited quarters and rough terrain of most maps, and I don't feel vehicles would be worth the investment.

Again, post questions here and I'll probably answer them at some point.

Unlikely. I haven't worked on anything for CC in the better part of half a decade.

Yeah, no. Look, I appreciate your interest and enthusiasm, but I don't intend to work on this any further at this time. The mod is ~5 years old, and the Cortex Command engine is just awful for vehicles that aren't dropships or rockets. Can they be done? Technically, yes. But it's a huge headache and it's not worth the effort.
