Before you post a new bug make sure you have the latest version of this mod and that you don't have any incompatible mods enabled (or turned off the relevant component in this mod).

When reporting a bug be sure to include MyDocuments\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\log.txt, which contains the error message, as well as any other mods you have installed. Also, if possible, try to describe what was going on when the crash occured.

The mod isn't compatible with Renewable World. It seems to have to do with the names of the LUA files that have to do with the renewable portion of this, because deleting these 2 LUA files (along with disabling the renewable option) finally makes them compatible.

Simply disabling the renewable option, and even deleting all the renewable code within the modmain.lua and the 2 renewable lua files didn't fix the problem (I kept deleting until literally everything was empty and it still didn't work lol).

It didn't fix until I simply deleted the 2 renewable lua files. So I think there might be a file naming problem.

It seems Renewable World added a file with the same name (renewable.lua) as I do. This leads to one file overwriting the other. Unfortunately disabling files is not possible. I could rename the file, however that would reset the resource regeneration progress for everyone that is already using this mod. I would prefer not to do so (aside from this not being a real bug, but more an unfortunate incident).

I'll post a note on the main mod page that it is incompatible with Renewable World.

Hello! My dedicated server crashed a couple of times with the same error. Other mods I'm running: Welcome Message, Global Positions and No More Respawn Penalty.

The mod's settings are all set to default values. I am not sure what the players where doing when the latest crash occured, as I wasn't online.

Below is my log file. It's very long, I think you'll only be interested in the error at the end. Warning! My browser slows down when loading the page.

Not sure if this is a bug but, is it normal that grass continues to regrow (after removing it with a shovel) on carpet and cobblestone turfs? The original turf was savanah. It is quite unfortunate because when you craft those special turfs there is an expectation that it will look good and neat. It seems that the grass wont grow in the middle of a carpet rectangle (perhaps due to buildings?) but does readily regrow close to, just inside, or at the edges of the carpet and cobblestone. I have not checked what the situation is like on this map where the original turf is grass/forest but I can check on that too.

The mods renew resources part does not work in the new DST game update in Caves dedicated server part, works fine in overworld. You can get the error log by trying to run the mod under cave part of dedicated server.

My server crashes upon generation using this mod after the Caves update this week. I have everything set to default on the mod and the game itself.

The error log points to Fix Multiplayer mod, that is where the error is generating from. Turn off the "World regeneration" on cave server part (you can keep it for the overworld and it also works with Infused Biomes feature) and also turn off the "multiple chesters" option. You should also go notify the author that his mod has bugs after the Cave update.

2 updates to this mod. Now it should function without any crashes, including when you run a cave only server. Resource regeneration should also work in caves now. Also added a new 'cave starting items' option.

Note that chester eyebones can not be found in cave only servers, even if you enable the multiple chester option. (I may add an option in the future, but for now I feel that chester eyebones shouldn't be found in caves).

The only thing that has not yet been tested is when you have a multilevel server and change between servers. I don't think it will cause crashes, but you might receive starting items again when changing servers and chesters may behave weird.

Found another bug, happens in dedicated servers when hammering down a sign or alchemy engine for example. The crash occures when the destroyed structure is about to drop loot. The code block where the issue lies is under the lines "--Prevent destroying structures". Error log is here http://pastebin.com/yhktpm2C I have currently removed the code block from the mods code and my server does not crash anymore.

As an addition: Weird part is that when i set the config value of that weird code part on prevent structures from being destroyed to 0, e.g disabled, the crash still happens, i had to literally delete the entire code block for it to not happen anymore.

Also a side request, could you make the world resource generation a standalone mod with configurable options for every prefab so it's flexible and don't come with any additional "components" which are not needed, because your way of implementing the resource renewal is so far the best i think. If you are not up with the task and with your permission i could make it standalone on my own and give you credits of course? Because i am using your mod for mostly resource renewal and map revealer, although the last one is not working on dedicated servers anymore.
