help with modding
I would like some help with modding even if its just tips or tricks.

I just got in to learning how to mod Reassembly and i'm having a hard time trying to figure out a lot of the material. If I could get some help that would be awesome doesn't matter id you a experience modded or a noob any help would be much appreciated

So far i got, my Mod to show up and have its own faction but the blocks that ive made in the Blocks.lua Arn't showing up (If i delete the Orginal blocks the game brakes).

you must enter mod reassembly and click mod and there button green click and boom you maded!:steamsalty:

Sorry it took time to answer. It appears Steam do not report new discussion to me automatically and I had not checked for a while...

Darkfire231: For a new faction blocks to be available you have to assign the blocks to a ship design and save said design into the "ships" folder of your mod using the "Sandbox" mode.

Failure to do so will result in block not showing as available. Can be a problem sometime if you want some blocks to be "upgradable" but locked by default. You can work around this problem using some ships design with more than 8000 P.
