On that note, I do miss the Champion Economic bonus that grants your Draconian leader and heroes an additional 10 casting points. It really helped build spell focused classes, like the sorcerer and archdruid. It also boosted hybrid classes like necromancer and theocrat, whose spells can critically affect battle outcomes.
Would it be possible to place this casting point upgrade in the Protector level, where the current calvary bonus is? Then you could keep the calvary bonus (maybe a slightly nerfed one where they only receive the projectile resistance and resistence stat increase) at the first level by replacing the boost to Flamers. Flamers are arguably one of the best archer units in the game, and I think forgoing a buff for them to boost calvary makes sense.
