Continuous sim speed drop during combat.
First of all I really love this mod, the re-entry is fantastic and looks amazing when you are burning a star trek ship. The flight physics has enabled me to create my own airliners, fighter jets, and more that don't rely on an enormous amount of thrusters to make them unrealistically hover around; however there is a problem with this mod that has plagued both me and my friends' servers for nearly a year now, whenever we do some kind of combat activity or maybe even crashing ships into each other, even if it is entirely in space, we get a gradual simulation speed drop which continues to decay the simulation speed while increasing the server CPU load. This cycle only ends with a restart of the server but if left the simulation speed continues to drop until its at 0.01 at which point the game is utterly unplayable. It does not seem to matter the size of the combat activities, whether it be a small skirmish or a large-scale fleet battle, it always ends in tremendously low sim speed even after the battle has ended. The server can be wiped over and over but the sim speed remains extremely low, we even made sure to test this on a server that has this mod only and was otherwise completely vanilla, we still got the same problem confirming this mod was the cause. Again, personally I really love this mod as it allows me to make space engineers nearly a realistic flight simulator, my friends would agree, but if this keeps continuing we may have to abandon this mod because of this problem. I wanted to start this discussion for the purpose of making sure the issue was known about and fixed so that won't happen.

I have the exact same problem. I love this mod but I hate having to take it off of a world before doing a battle and then putting it back on afterwards every single time (my worlds have long loading times). It seems to work sometimes with 1v1s, but random chance or larger battles ruin the sim speed to the point where it becomes unplayable, even if they're not remotely close to any planets. Even after the battles have ended, if you just let the game run with no grids even in the world, the sim speed just drops endlessly.

Without this mod (every other mod still on) the same battles get only a tiny fraction of the lag, for example instead of 0.3 sim speed it might be 0.8 sim speed. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if it is a problem with this mod, for all I know there's some setting I have wrong that's breaking it. All I know is the problem only happens with this mod on, and it is not any other mod causing it.

I would really appreciate help in fixing this, if there's any way I can help track down the problem let me know. I also love this mod and would really like to see it fixed.
