Well you said you'd take a suggestion so here it is.

I love your addon, it has brought me great days!
but i would love it if you could perhaps use this idea for an addon or an extension to this one!

Please make a similar addon but instead of using NPCS try to use entities and weapons!
the only reason I'd want this is to give sandbox a better survival look like with the food mod!
Just to have the ZINV mod spawn entities/weapons would be amazing!
please try to do this!

I understand how this feature could be cool but I'm not sure it fits the purpose of this addon. This is "Zombie/NPC invasion", not "Automatic Weapon Spawner". I'd like to focus on features relevant to NPC spawning and at the same time keep the addon clean and simple.

There's also the issue of the current code being optimized for NPCs. For example, NPCs spawn on AI nodes without regard for density, etc. If I spawned weapons the same way it wouldn't look/work very well.

If I end up deciding to write up this feature I'll probably make it its own addon.

Thank you for responding, it's nice to see a developer respond for once... Anyway I believe this suggestion would be a great idea, separate addon or not. I like to optimize my gaming experience with the best survival features and such an extra would improve this addon greatly. Thanks again for responding.

You can actually already do this, if type in the classname of an entity thats not an NPC, they will spawn, I once made live M9K nytrogen bottles spawn everywhere, if you type in item_ammo_smg1 instead of an NPC, again, it will spawn everywhere.

I've tried doing that but all I get is this console message:
lua/autorun/server/init.lua:445: attempt to index global 'npc_info' (a nil value)

How did you manage to do it? I set item_ammo_smg1 as NPC and didn't touch anything else.
