Komodo Dragon. They only need one bite to slowly and painfully kill you over time.

What about a solid snek? Jk but maybe a snek that has a huge tongue and therefore a larger grab range

I got a few snake suggestions.

Golden Eyelash Viper. Bright yellow viper which has a really deadly poison. So it’s venom, does triple or double the damage vs normal vipers.

Green tree amazon python. Gets a bonus on taking cover behind trees and other green bushes, planets, logs even. Or perhaps a bonus to doge when it takes cover on these types of environments.

Perhaps add a way for them to HIDE in trees and they are only seen when a solider walk by the area. Similar to how Chryssailds burrow in the ground, and are only revealed if scanned the area or a soilder comes near. Have the snake hide in the tree and when a solider gets near, they pop out of the tree, and bind on the closest solider. + 4 to bind instead of 2, because it is a surprise attack.

Similar of how Chryssailds pop up and auto attack and poison the nearest soilder.

The " Pelamis platura" snake is another one, which I think would look good in the game, as for abilies, I wwas thinking it could "run and Gun" when moves or stops on Water tiles.

Taipan? Maybe

The taipans are snakes of the genus Oxyuranus in the elapid family. They are large, fast-moving, highly venomous, and endemic to Australasia. There are currently three recognized species, one of which, the coastal taipan, has two subspecies. The taipans are considered some of the most deadly known snakes.

You should colaborate with the Playable Aliens Modders so you can have these colorful skins with the cloned vipers as an option.

Another idea would be to add the are the "Blue Racer snake" and the "Brazilian Rainbow boa" . Very colorful looking snakes.

How about a Boa Constrictor, I think she would be larger and have more health than her cousins, but not have her tougue pull or poison spit abilities, instead she would seek to get in bind range of her victim and bind them and not let go until her or her victim are killed.

or mabye a rattlesnake, instead of her tougue pull and bind abilities, she would instead have a rattle ability which would buff her alies defense and debuff her enemies defense, and a burrow ability which would fuction like the chrysallid's.
