dev log: sugestions and features

1.Maybe(if possible) A automated (and decent) toggelable AI for the mech-fighters
2. Somehow plz get the "carrier" to use decouplers or something to actually carry and deploy fighters.
Also gj on the mod.

1) what do i look like, a wizzard? i dont know how to force the ai to take controll of those things, i barely know how to exploit the code into doing what i want let alone adding in hardcoded functions and base game modefication

i'm planning to take a brake after i implement mech suits, the temperature is also not helping eighter, i may impliment a countermeasure introducing something against it... on the roof... of my house...

working on some small modules and a few armours, and of course new crew/troop types, and i'm really thinking about splitting parts off my mod, i'm sorta reaching a soft-limit for how much a mod can contain and effectively load in the game, the generation time for the files is taking a long time and is increasing in time ever still, it also doesn't help that i only have so much ram to run the whole dam thing...
I noticed how there are no drone tracks or legs for landships, prehaps you can add some?
Also, would you mind adding drone bomb bays?

yes, yes, i was working on drone land propulsion and i could do the bomb-bays too
and maybe do a flack gun...

btw how are the drone modules on ships fairing i want to know if they are ridiculously strong, i know since my mod is used allot whit some others there tend to be stronger armours, that also i'm making dense versions of wood/iron and stone armours...
The drone modules are not OP their just regular ships that can withstand ridiculous wars of attrition with the right modules, but can be pretty good. Also no airship and landship trenches?

other trenches... i could do that, but seeing as they are basically a advanced type of deck... and they are misleading modules if you ask me... but i could do that...

i just had a idea for upside down bomb-bays

the mech fighters will, when the carriers are implimented, become sort of the heavy fighter class or the frigate class. like the 3'rd or second smallest ship in the game.

oh and i'm working with whitefox on a project... if you did not know yet...

the best part about is that i can come up with new ideas and solutions to things that would not have come up in my mod, and excuses to make alternative content, like white's new mod logo...

right now, we are working on a total conversion mod, after you get that mod, you could almost call a different game...

do... you.. mean. a module that only has wheels? i could do that, but if you mean a 'unit' ship then i'm going to have to puzzle how to put it together, as ground behaviours are 'problematic' sometimes...

ok, i'm working on 3 new crew types, its being harder than i thought... right now i'm focusing on that so the next update will have them, after that i'm going to impliment some more drone module balancing and re-desighning some ai-ships, some weel alternate solutions, i may make a shotgun version of a cannon, rebalance some bombard networks, get some inpiration and make a patreon...

now its not the final look, and its prooving harder than i expected but i'm getting close...

its going to take a while for me to make a new crewtype or two, also i've tried to impliment a negative balance of ammo and coal, it did not work, also having closed off resources cuased the game to crash, so thats bad...

in other news i'm really tired, also me and white are tinkering on things but it goes slow and i feel like i'm not adding to it, and this mod got the first dislike today... sigh...

ok i maniged to make 2 out of the 3 crew types, for the mech suits i need to make a special animation and rigging file so its going to take some time, however it 'works' but looks strange and extremly ugly, i think i could make jetpack troops now, i may atempt it if anyone wants me to, however i feel tired.... anyway i also made drone variants of bomb bay and flak connons...

and to the guy who said the drone modules were op, i may edit the arcs and fireing speed of said modules, i treid to make a resource balance system to make it so you would have a net-positive ammo count to make things function but it failed...
It's fine Cataclysm. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard to get past hard coding.
