I admit that I could write it better. I'll be certain to add the "+" to provide more clarity.
The only problem with this statement is that the level 105 pistols and shotgonnes cannot be equipped without very high dexterity. On my current dual-wielding pistol Soldier, the legendary pistols need 480 dexterity. I think when I looked up the level 105 legendary shotgunne, it also required 480 dexterity.
You say (under 200 or 495) Dexterity, but I'm not sure what that means. Which number is the correct one?
Both can be correct at different times depending on where the Player's level is. End Game also factors Boris the Stat Enchanter on high level items to increase stats over 500 total each if desired. I'll write more description to note this.
What would be a Shield + Grenade build, if viable ?

Grenade skills are flexible hence can be paired with any build and weapon.
Choosing Shield skills offers two build styles:
Shield with a Melee weapon or Shield with no Melee weapon.
Having "No Melee Weapon" will offer less Front-Line skills available however Grenades can be used in every build with and without the Melee weapon.
Shield + Grenade is viable hence here's the list of skills plus possible Stat investments to empower the build:
Defensive Stat build every level-up:
Strength = 1
Focus = 1
Dexterity = 1
Vitality = 2
logic: Juggernaut skill uses Armor (Vitality) to add more physical damage to the entire build.
much faster to get maximum Block Chance on Shield.
Combat Stat build every level-up:
Strength = 2
Focus = 2
Dexterity = 1
Vitality = 0
logic: Less bonus from Juggernaut however more Dps and damage from other sources.
will take more items to max Block Chance on Shield.
