I have taken Barbarian characters all the way level 100 and end game and you can have strong builds if you focus skill tree 1 and 2 if that make sense.
Let us know if you need any more information
thank you Corley and HiFive
The Third Elemental skill tree is ready for game-play.
Barbarian now competes with all the other Ace-classes on variety and viability.
Feel free to take your time as desired, The War-Bot class has likewise received updates also in part from your appreciated feedback that was provided some time ago.
You shall find that much of your input has been implemented to the best we could perform within the Engine's limits for certain War-Bot skills (and as inspiration when required).
War-Bot is a continual work-in-progress yet is quite functional for modded end-game purposes and player-builds at this time.
All of the skill trees are now actively operational (though still incomplete regarding many skills and bonuses).
Quite a few micro-builds and skill-synergies do exist for the player's benefit.

And as a note to the other players who read this;
Character-Select Profile-Pictures are still in our plans to provide for any Ace-class that still requires it. Your requests are well-noted - just a matter of figuring out how to best fulfill these requests.
Digitally painting a new face (and to resemble Torchlight's style) is not exactly an easy task.
(Although we do have our theories and methods - rest assured).
Even though we were quite pleased with the face edits performed for the Soldier and Vampire - we do value originality in our work when available and is what we are aiming for to ensure that other Ace-classes do not look too alike as we provide more selection-pictures during character-creation.
And we know how much it matters to players of the Barbarian that a unique face-portrait be provided eventually. That is one of our continued goals.
We appreciate all your comments provided throughout these months and years.
