The event "Acceptance of Marishqi people in Tikrit" constantly fires in my current savegame as Ardalan, owning the province of Tikrit.

The event "Acceptance of the Bulgarian populus in Burgas" keeps firing. When I click the button "excellent" it says (The Event " happens) I am playing as Byzantium.

This works with the vanilla game, but when I use this with Extended timeline the opening 3 option event does not pop up on the first day (and never does after). These 2 are the only mods I'm using, and I tried with france in 1444, rome in 68, and germany in 1939.
I have all DLC's if that helps.

Hmm ok let me look at this.

Still getting the "Accpetance of the Bulgarian populus in Burgas" pop up. It no longer states (The Event " Happens) though. it pops up quite often while running at speed five, waiting for my heir to get old enough so I can start expanding again.

I'm running this with extended timeline, as Byzantium year 982 (empire only organic culture conversion). The province Erzincan gets the Greekicized Population Modifier. Then a month later gets the Accepted Culure Balancer Modifier. Armenian culture is not accepted by Byzantium. This is a bug and it's odd that that would come up on a non accepted culture.

So to be clear, please just bear with me:
Byzantium primary culture is Greek
Armenian is not an accepted culture in Byzantium
Erzincan culture is Armenian
Erzincan culture has the Greekicized Population Modifier
Erzincan then got the Accepted Culture Balancer Modifier

That is indeed a problem.
I am assuming this hasn't happened before to you and that the problem didn't go away in a month or so.
Do you have the DLC Common Sense?

Yes that is what happened. I ran the game for 6 years after to see if another province would do the same thing (I didnt bother running after since nothing changed related to this subject) and those modifiers didnt change in the Erzincan province. I have all DLC's enabled including common sense.

Ok thanks. I see the problem, I'm going to fix. There's a logic gap that I need to fill. Hopefully later tonight or tomorrow. Should fix problems retroactively so no worries.

I can't download the mod. When I subscribe and then try to search for the mod following the manual install directions it doesn't exist. Steam says subscribed and the mod title shows up in EUIV but when I select the mod the game crashes. No problem with any other mods. I've unsubscribed and resubscribed and restarted steam to no avail. Any idea what could be causing this?

Sounds like Steam is in the middle of installing the mod. Unfortunatly you will have to give a few more loads and reloads if it is not getting through. If this fails, of you get tired of it, delete all local copies of the mod in your mods folder and in the Steam install folder, unsubcribe from the mod, close and exit out of steam, reload steam, load EU4, close EU4, resubscribe to the mod.

Steam is a pain... I'm sorry I don't have a great solution. I have very little control over what happens once the file is uploaded to their server.

Let me know if you are still stuck.

For some reason this mod seems to be crashing my game to desktop whenever I hover my mouse over the 'recruit general' button, I've tried with and without other mods to no avail.

I hope you have time to update the mod soon, it's the best culture converter I've seen out here, and playing without it is going to feel much more limiting.
