Why you should Bury the collider.

The colliders for these are a special case because they are separate from the model itself. That's why the models float above the map. This does however leave an invisible "object" below for you to grab and manipulate to get the shadows where you want them. If you were to leave this collider resting on the table it would act like an invisible table that other objects would run into (it sounds like this is what you are experiencing). To prevent that all you have to do is lock the collider and use the gizmo tool to lower it just below the surface of the table (a.k.a. bury it). From there other models wont run into it. ...Let me know if I didn't answer your question fully. If you are having trouble with colliders from other models those typically are bit different but there are tricks you can use for them as well.

Hello and thanks for the advice. i learned a lot. I ran into the following problem. If i have a flying dragon (in the workshop files is a file called dragons) it has a red dragon in the air. The collider is some distance away from the figurine, so it looks like the dragon is flying. The collider itself , when put down on table , dissapears a little in the surface. 2 things. How do you make a figurine where you put the collider down so it looks like the figurine is flying. And how do you make a collider disapear into the table and make it that way even after you moved the figurine. When i bury the collider and then move the figurine the collider shoots back to its original space.

I'm far from an expert and not familiar with the model you are talking about, I'm not sure how someone would make a collider that could rest below the table surface. However, you could probably take that collider and apply it to any object you wanted if you like it Most creators don't mind as long as you give them credit and maybe link back to their original work. You can add a collider to a model in the custom model properties. I elevated mine using blender just by making the model higher than the origin. As far as hiding colliders of objects that you plan to move it becomes more difficult. The physics will act on he collider so if you want to bury it you have to lock it. If you unlock it the physics will act on it again (causing it to shoot back up, as you mentioned). You can still move a locked object using the gizmo tool but you may have trouble selecting it if it's hidden under the table. I would probably make a flying object by leaving the collider on the surface and just trying to make it small enough that it didn't interfere with other objects as much.
