Vanilla Changes
One of the core tenants of UMC is leaving the base game (AoMEE TotD, which I consider "vanilla") unchanged. This has the benefit of allowing scenarios that weren't made with UMC to still be played with UMC active and of course it doesn't force us to choose between a modded unit and a vanilla unit or a modded function of any sort and the vanilla function. However, UMC does change a few things about the base game code which are listed here.

These are primarily in the form of bug fixes. Basically all of the data fixes from the Minor Bug Fix mod are included in UMC High Priority. You can find the full changelog for that mod in the discussions. Any changes I make to the base game that are not part of that mod, I will list here. These changes will not affect scenarios made without UMC.

  • Invisible Wall now has the TestClass unittype so it will be listed under Test in the editor with the other UMC editor helpers (this is the only change to the object)

  • Several miscelanious units have had TestClass removed so they no longer show up under Test in the editor (this is the only change to those units, mostly DLC units which were accidentally left as test I presume), the Test class is now exclusively used for objects that are useful for scenario editing like cinematic blocks, lights, invisible objects, etc.

  • the various objects called "Fire" in the editor have been split up into more descriptive names, the one that we normally think of as "fire" is still called "Fire" and there is also "Fire (Heka)" and "Fire (Siphon)", this should prevent some confusion, nothing else about the objects has been changed.

  • Misc Objects have been renamed to "Misc Pelts"

  • Smoke Underworld has been renamed to "Smoke Embers", the original name didn't match the internal name anyway and embers is more descriptive
