I finally managed to compile a workshop ready release of the official co10 Escape 1.8.1.

It is compiled as an addon mission collection (like a campaign, so everybody you play it with needs the steamWS subscription). For a mission-only version see the official thread: https://forums.bistudio.com/forums/topic/180080-co10-escape

Apex version will come soon (when enough people can confirm this type of release works as intended).
