I tried for about a month to get it to work with Africa (AFTER I had designed a full expansion to it built around using Africa's mechanics, foolishly), but wasn't able to get it to work through Steam nor heard advice on how to do so. So no, unfortunately.
Confirmed. With the "missions" folder removed from the Cyberpunk mod fodler, D3:A can be played w/ the Cyperpunk policies possible.
Well, I just got it to work.
Cyberpunk1.1\data\missions\<name of country>
rename these files:
cascadia.txt
Cyberpunk Dystopia.txt
ktsr.txt
New Novgord.txt
to:
cascadia_ENG.txt
Cyberpunk Dystopia_ENG.txt
ktsr_ENG.txt
New Novgord_ENG.txt
Yes, Democracy 3 Africa looks for a file ending in _ENG (or _DEU or _FRA). Any new country without such a filename ending will result in a crash upon clicking "new game".
EDIT: This should work for ANY Democracy 3 mod that adds a new country - just add _ENG after the name but before the .txt and it should work.
