Request for Technical Help with Updates
So I've been working hard on the Africa mod. I've written up three new scenarios: the chaotic Marathi Republic, the radical transhumanist Bolochi Technocracy, and the regressively isolationist Transcendent Free Republic of Tibet. I've also made new situations with background radiation, radiation sickeness, and raiders.
Unfortunately, while I can get everything to work fine on my own computer, the simulation features, policies, and situations don't port over successfully through the workshop. Over the past week I've tried a few workarounds like uploading them as separate mods, but they don't seem to work.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I was really excited for these scenarios and would be really sad if I can't share them with you all.

rename these files:
cascadia.txt
Cyberpunk Dystopia.txt
ktsr.txt
New Novgord.txt

to:
cascadia_ENG.txt
Cyberpunk Dystopia_ENG.txt
ktsr_ENG.txt
New Novgord_ENG.txt

Yes, Democracy 3 Africa looks for a file ending in _ENG (or _DEU or _FRA). Any new country without such a filename ending will result in a crash upon clicking "new game".

If you've got new country files, just add _ENG at the end of the file name but before the extension.

Near as I can tell with my own mod, the workshop for Democracy 3 is broken. Anything that was already uploaded before it broke remains intact, but trying to update will do nothing, and uploading a new mod will create a mod page but a non-functional download.

Manual installs of mods still work, but you'll need a non-workshop way of getting the files to the users.
