Pretty much "ai.config.patch" controls the AI image, "teleport_argonian.cinematic" controls the teleport, and "universe_server.config.patch" controls the ship. You'll want to replace human with the intended racename for the .png and .structure values for each.
Additionally in argonian.species.patch, the
"?replace=FEFFFFFF=FFFFFFFF?replace=9bd4ffFF=ffea63FF?replace=31a6ffFF=f5bc00FF",
line controls the teleport color outside of the cutscene, you'll have to find what color you want from the default .species files in the unpacked game assets.
You might have to start a new save for the ship to change.

I changed the above upload to a new version without that requirement line, re-dl and it should work. If not, then you might have to use the non-steam version of the core mod over on the forums[community.playstarbound.com].

Your point? People can dislike certain races. I personally love the Avali, but dislike the Avians. Funny how that one works, huh?
Ebony is a common, but very strong and durable material in the Black Marsh, and it makes sense that once their tech or magic reached space-age, the argonians would employ it. It has a kind of sweeping, primordial aesthetic to it.
What I'm thinking of is a sleek, slightly "mayincatec"-looking magitek cruiser that starts out as a stylized shuttle, like all other starter ships. But then, as you upgrade it, at level 4 or something, you end up with a small hist tree at the center of an atrium. As you go into the final upgrades, the little sentient tree grows bigger, until you end up with a full grown hist.
The hist, being the key to argonian sentience (apparently? whats the ESO lore say now?), religion, and community would be crucial on any major argonian spaceship.
