I run on mac and the only thing the mod has done so far is crash
like I said, I run on mac. when I try to set up a game, it lets me change all the settings, but when I click start game it just crashes. when I try to load a game it just doesn't appear. I have made sure many times that the mod is enabled. I understand that since I am a mac user, I might have to do some stuff manually, but as of now I haven't found a tutorial online that made any sense pertaining to the manual installation of the mod. If the problem is just that I need to install it manually, can someone give me or link me to a step by step guide? thanks.

It's complicated for me to answer that 100% sure of what I'd say, for I have all my Civ V mods manually long time installed.
Now, recently, I have been making some mods cleaning and I'm almost certain, as well as surprised, seeing all the mods I subscribed for being automatically moved and showing in my "mods to enabled" list. Just by subscribing!
Otherwise unzip the mod file and move the result into your:
documents/Aspyr/Sid Meier's Civilization 5/MODS folder, next to your savegames...

It is unzipped in the mods folder, it's just not working. Since posting this discussion, I have realized that this is happening with all of the mods I try to use, not just the one, and I'm not sure why, but thanks for trying to help.
