Can't change active Civilizations.

IGE does not work anymore

IGE wont load after save/return to windows

cant run ige. Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Ingame Editor (v 39)\Widgets\IGE_TabsBar.lua line 37 attempt to call global 'SetPlayersData' a nil value

Bad Argument LUA

I'm honestly not sure when exactly this the new startup screen was made for Civs 5 and 6, the IGE started to no longer work the way it was supposed to, and everytime I turn it on and pull up the game, i get this...

I'm not a coder and I have absolutely no idea what to look for or how to fix this, can someone please help me?

I could be wrong about the launcher, but this is issue has happening since Sep 2017...
