This game actually seems like there is more strategy than ever. I've been playing since Civ ONE when I had to juggle 4 floppy disks to keep the game running as the computing power of the 1990s was pretty poor. But I loved it! And I have played thousands of hours of every version since...

With all that said... this game looks like someone on the developing team owed their 12 year old niece a favor and let her intern as the art designer on the production team. The art looks more like My Little Pony characters took turns throwing up on a Risk board than an actual Civilization game. For 60 bucks, I'd think I'd get something other than the art level of a damned cell phone game.

Please someone... anyone.... mod the art on this...
