This would be nice if it could be answered.
So removing all mods and all dlc and while also deleting the config file that xcom has in "documents/mygames" every time you try to start a connection attempt over, should make the coop work according to the mod authors of this mod.
But the truth is. It doesn't.
There is a 1% chance that you *may* just get into a game and even if you do the game will have bugs in those missions too, including a sync bug that makes it impossible to play at all even if the other player trying to join by some merical can join in after knowing the host is already in game having waited for over 10mins.
So when I told the devs that this was a thing, they deleted my post.
So here I am going like, "huh, didn't want anyone to know about that huh?" I'm questioning their validity and compadibity to actual feedback and critizism of their mod.
If it works for them, then they should make it crystal clear how to make it work in a video and NOT be vague about it.
♥♥♥♥♥♥ practicies like this is unfortnutely very common these days.
Glad the damn ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥(gofundme) didn't go though as the actual xcom team shut them down.
It would require I delete all DLC and mods again.
But if you can give me an insight to why it wasn't running, then that would be helpful.
So I don't need to delete DLC either I assume?
