I always thought black powder firearms as a low tech option should be in-game (I know of at least one MOD that adds them along with some other weapon options) but I think your inclusion of the improvised pistol fills the same void while keeping more in-line with the vanilla game. How about an improvised rifle? Improved explosives: pipe style bomb and making the existing molotov cocktails as a craftable item?

Some potential great idea candidates, I'll consider if demand rises. I don't really want to overdo each weapon and ultimately make a whole lineup though; I want them to feel unique. I think that's what Tynan was going for with the Charge Rifle with it being this lucrative high-tech futuristic rifle compared to archaic gunpowder arms of the distant 'modern' era.
I can understand the logic of that - one representative weapon for each category. That being the case I think the weapon missing is a less than lethal option like a taser gun, bean bag gun, or tear gas grenades.
crossbow: longer range than bow, long reload, High damage, high accuracy

Like the 'tribal' equivalent of a sniper rifle? I was thinking about it at one point, but at the same time I feel it'd not be a great step up from the great bow, and feel too close to the survival rifle as a whole.
I have a suggestion. Could you add a vintage SMG? Something like the MP40 or Thompson? If its the thompson (or tommygun), then it will have low damage but really fast firerate. If its the MP40, it'll have a bit higher damage than the heavy SMG but just a tiny bit slower firerate.
Also another possibility is a Gauss Sniper. Really really high damage but very inaccurate if not in the LONG range category (Check the wiki on range/weapons). Slower firerate than the sniper but really superior damage.

Fifty cal rifle pretty much satisfies the niche of the proposed gauss sniper, and vintage SMG would probably be too similar to LMG or Vintage AR. This pack isn't very well favoured anyway so it's going to take a majority to get a suggestion through.

I believe the one weapon category not represented even in the vanilla game is an “advanced melee” weapon – say a vibroblade katana.

I think another mod already adds that. And I don't want OP weapons in this pack. Appreciate the suggestion though.
I have two suggestions.

1. A longer double-barrelled shotgun, similar to the existing sawn-off only longer ranged, more accurate but with a reduced rate of fire. Possibly a "saw off shotgun" reaction at the crafting spot as well?

2. A semi-automatic rifle. Somewhere in-between the survival rifle and the assault rifle stat-wise; no burst fire and not as hard-hitting but with a low cooldown and good accuracy. Visually it could be based off the Mini-14.

1) I feel that just a bog standard double-barreled shotgun would just be redundant, as there's not really enough to distinguish it from other weapons

2) There was the marksman rifle (based off of the SR-25) in v1.1 and earlier, but I replaced that with the repeater rifle (Winchester Model 1873) in this version.
Hey man, love your mod! I was thinking, the two weapons that need to be added: Crossbow and a Tommy gun. Crossbow could be like a tribal sniper (longer range, slower, higher dmg, than a bow, but not close to a real sniper rifle), The Thompson (SMG) would be cool to have, and it would fit. And if someone could add mobster apparel :D

I'll think about the crossbow one as that's been suggested in the past. I'll probably place it somewhere between the great bow and survival rifle in terms of DPS - with survival rifle's range.

As for the Tommy Gun, I may do that too. In terms of a niche for it to fill, I'll probably place it between the LMG and minigun, as the LMG is between the Heavy SMG and minigun.

I'm currently occupied slaving away at weapon accuracy and DPS graphs for the wiki, but I may come back to my mods after - they're a low priority at the moment.

Thank you for the suggestions, they do seem pretty vanilla-friendly.

Have you considered making what is essentially a powerfist from the fallout series? Perhaps a knuckle weapon too. Basically Im saying the game has no fist weapons, unless you count bionics.
