At a pter the circle appears at the level of a belt and the icon is much higher than the head.

After the new version with circle, a passive dino that is picked up and then droped, will have booth icon and circle.

@acheron, thats not a bug, they are supposed to do that, they drop everything but food. If you are using a stack mod there is a chance the whole inventory will drop. I wont be able to make the mod compatable with all stack mods. But I am working on a few that I have used in the past. If you dont want them to drop all their inventory there is an ini setting to keep inventory.

I'm using Stack Me More (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=680481868), one of the more popular stack mods and it's still throwing everything out. I noticed it didn't throw out a oil pump blueprint? Not sure if it's all blueprints or just that one specifically but that's the only thing that was left in my bird's inventory after testing

Stack mods arent compatible with the drop portion of my mod. Because stack mods remap the default ark items. And I only check the default. I can work on compatablility patches for stack mods. But they are very low on my list of things to do, as I would have to make my mod compatable with a bunch of different stack mods. I'll get around to doing the popular stack mods eventually, but like I said. It's a low priority.

Is it not just "PrimalItemConsumable_RawMeat_Child_C" that it has to look for assuming the stack mods are naming correctly? I don't mind it throwing away meat currently as that issue can be alleviated by using a trough, I'd just love to see the meat kept and so would all the players on my server who are freaking out over it dropping meat haha. Either way love the work you've done so far, everything else appears to be going well

The "PrimalItemConsumable_RawMeat_Child_C" is the stack mods version of "PrimalItemConsumable_RawMeat" which is what I check for. There are ways of making it work. It's just low priority compared to a few other issues that have come up. Compatability for stack mods is on my list. It will get done eventually. Probably won't be for a few updates though.

Mod doesnt seem to like Ichthyornis.

Its on follow, on neutral, and in the INI I have "IconMode=1" (no other dino shows the floating icon). So ^_^!

Its a vanilla dino btw, no mod active that changes any dino. Ive almost every type of dino, this is the only one that behaves like this.

Was the ichthy picked up? There is a bug that when you pick up a dino, the icons appear. It should be fixed in the next update.

Yes. It appeared straight away after taming it. Didnt matter its stance, or whether it was on follow, or whether I was currently holding it, It kept a solid ring and a floating icon.

Just started up my server and I tried picking up other dinos, as you probably know, this isnt specific to ichys, any dino that you can pick up (incl dodo's, snails, etc) it happens with.


Since there is no suggestion thread, Ill just throw this out here. Rather than the dinos who are protected becoming immune to damage, could you make it so they are ignored? (ie "leavemealone") It means you cant use your dinos as an immortal distraction XD

Thanks for the info. I have fixed the visual bug with dinos you can pickup. The fix will be in the next update.

I'll go ahead and add that suggestion to my list. I also created a suggestion discussion.

I dont know why this is happening, but on my server every now and then i see that the protection isnt working, but then a fellow member of the server visits the base gets off their mount and i see protection is working for them, so it cant be an issue with the install in that sense if its working for someone else but not for me, seems like the protection expires or gets upset with a reboot and the only way to fix is delete mod and reinstall it, but the mod isnt broken, just for certain players its not working
