Prisoners working with freezer
Hi all,
The plan was to have prisoners harvesting my drugs and then have them crafting drugs to sell (after a year they'll be given the opportunity to join or banished).
The problem I have is that prisoners won't go through doors unless they're opened for them, unless I'm misunderstanding. Since I keep the raw drugs in a small freezer to stop them spoiling the problem is that if I hold-open the doors then the room heats up and stops working as a freezer, but if I leave the doors closed they won't go into get the drugs to craft.
Am I misunderstanding the rules over doors or is there a workaround?

There is a work around. The same mod author I think also got the mod "locks". GO get it, yes its compatible with CE even they say otherwise. At least its working fine for me all the time, but no guarantee as always of course. With that mod your able to "unlock" door, which they then can use. Also you can even forbid specific colonists enter, for example a drug interested one isnt allowed to walk in that freezer of yours. But the door is closed after all. And the prisoner wont go trough any door that is locked, you can even forbidd guest going into somehwere without zoning them out and in all 5 minutes. But take care about the fact, RAIDERS can use unlocked doors. So when they arrive, lock them with a little click again. (Have a pawn on number one switch flicking so it gets done or manually force him to). Wild animals or menhunters are NOT able to use unlocked doors. Give it a try
